Week of 4/17
This week we filmed the very last clips for our film and Carlos finished up our movie. He made our film look pretty great. We obviously had to direct him a tad but we all worked pretty loosely and today we can show Lansdown our film.

Week of 4/10
This week we filmed twice, I believe. We'll be done next week(maybe wednesday) so we can start filming our next project. It's a comedic-action music video that stars yours truly.

March 27th
I am working with John Paul Garcia, Gisela Torres, Leslie Nuñez, Carlos Garcia and Julia Miramontes. In this week, we came up with our ideas finished and need more storyboards and have almost completed a screenplay. Today, we will film three different parts. John's part (the lead, he is a scientist), Gisela's part(parent 1), and my part(parent 2).

What Music Means To Me
This certain topic is really something that I can't illustrate with words. I remember hearing L.A. Woman by The Doors on this little radio my dad had in Mexico and I remember myself just being lost in Jim Morrison's poetry and the amazingly simple yet infectious guitar playing of Robby Krieger. At that time, my music only stretched so far. I was a kid and my dad was never home so my main source for musical ideas was my mom. She was born in 1980 so she was really into tune with the 90s music. She introduced me to Blink-182, No Doubt, Sublime, Sum 41 and Fall Out Boy stuff like that. My dad came around to show me my favorite stuff like Zeppelin, The Doors, The Beatles, The Animals, Cream, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Iron Maiden. He also showed me artists like N.W.A., and Afroman. My father was incredibly into the psychedelic scene as much as he was into 80s metal and death metal. At about ten they bought me my first guitar with the cheapy amp, y'know? It was crazy because I didn't touch the thing for about four years until I heard Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd and the solo just captivated me I swear it brought me to tears. Then I heard The Beach Boys and they got me with Brian Wilson's compositions. For a good while now I've been really deep into the psychedelic era. The Byrds, Zeppelin, Donovan, The Doors, The Centurians, The later Beatles, just sort of flower power stuff. This entire part of my life is defined by bands I'm joining, forming, and obsessing over.

Problems & Struggles
I think a big problem for me and maybe for a lot of other kids in high school, is the pressures of growing up and getting into a good college. I know a bunch of people might be stressed out on getting into a good college and not being a hobo or mooching off their parents. They also have to deal with "teen angst" which sucks because it sounds dumb and fake but any little thing can bug you on any given day so you won't be able to focus on work. You'll just be battling your thoughts for hours on end. It sucks to because aside from getting enough sleep and doing homework, you have to be social and join other activities and extracurricular stuff so your application looks like it's worth reading. And after all that we need to look good or else you won't get the girl or guy you want then we're just back to being upset all day.

The Most Interesting Person In The World to me...
I think the most interesting person in my direct life has to be my dad, because his stories are very extravagant and I'll doubt them at times but someone else like my grandma or my mom will back them up which is crazy. He once told me about a time where he and his friend were going to a party and his friend on the way there got extremely violent so he had to go back home. He always tells me very great stories and basically all of the music I know he showed me.

My Anti Drug
My anti drug is really simple. I play bass with the amp blasted. It feels so great hearing the sound break up and get a little distorted. Whenever I get like really pissed I just blast my amp instead of yelling or fighting anymore. It makes me laugh how the cabinets open and stuff starts falling because of the vibrations. Windows shake and stuff will like move from one place to another, it's hilarious. The only down side to my anti drug is, I've popped an amp of mine and my cousins the were both old but still.
